About Us

Washington Vapes has been selling vapes online since 2016. We're based in the North East of England, we don't have a shop, and everything we sell goes out from our own warehouse — which is how we keep prices where they are.

We're a UK-registered business: Piperfinn Limited, company number 08445816. You can look us up at Companies House. We mention it because plenty of vape sites won't tell you who's behind them, and you're entitled to know who you're buying from.

What we stock

Around 880 products at any one time, across:

• Rechargeable pod kits — the format that replaced single-use vapes
• Prefilled and refill pods for every kit we sell
• Nic salts, shortfills and e-liquids, from 10ml bottles to 100ml
• Coils, batteries and accessories
• Nicotine pouches and other smoke-free alternatives
• Nicotine-free options for anyone stepping down

We stock the brands people actually ask for — IVG, Lost Mary, Elf Bar, SKE, Hayati, Vaporesso, Voopoo, Aspire, Oxva and others — rather than whatever carries the best margin.

How we got here

The team that runs Washington Vapes has been in this trade since 2016, through every major shift it's had: the move from tanks to pods, the arrival of nic salts, the disposables boom, and the ban that ended it.

When single-use vapes came off sale in June 2025, a lot of retailers were caught holding stock they couldn't shift. We'd already moved the range towards rechargeable kits and replaceable pods, because the direction of travel had been obvious for a while. That's the job: reading where the category is going and stocking for it, not for last year.

We also run Washington Vapes Wholesale, supplying independent shops and convenience retailers across the UK. Trading on both sides of the counter means we know what things actually cost, and it's a large part of why we can price the way we do.

Straight answers on price

Vaping Products Duty came into force on 1 October 2026 at a flat £2.20 per 10ml, charged on every e-liquid sold in the UK regardless of nicotine strength — 0mg is taxed exactly the same as 20mg.

Prices will rise. Stock that entered the supply chain before the deadline can be sold unstamped until 31 March 2027, so the change comes in gradually rather than overnight, and we'll hold pre-duty pricing for as long as our stock allows. We'd rather explain that plainly than let it appear on your receipt without warning. We've written up how the duty works in full here.

• Free delivery over £20 if you choose collection from a DPD pickup point
• Age verification on every order. We don't sell to under-18s and we check. If that means a delay on your order occasionally, that's a trade-off we'll take

Who we sell to

Vaping is for adult smokers and ex-smokers. It isn't for people who don't already use nicotine, and it isn't for anyone under 18. We won't sell to you if you're neither, and we'd rather lose the sale than pretend otherwise.

If you're trying to stop smoking, the NHS has free local Stop Smoking Services with far better success rates than going it alone — worth using alongside whatever you buy from us.
