Royal Mail Strike Dates
Latest Press Release Regarding Royal Mail Strike Dates
The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has called on its members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters to take strike action on 26 and 31 August and the 8 and 9 September 2022.
We’re really sorry for the disruption that this strike action is likely to cause to you. We want to reassure you we will do everything we can to minimise disruption and get our services back to normal as quickly as possible.
Royal Mail has well-developed contingency plans, but they cannot fully replace the daily efforts of its frontline workforce. We will be doing what we can to keep services running, but customers should expect significant disruption.
Royal Mail
Essentially, Royal Mail has stated that they will deliver as many parcels as possible, but, nothing is guaranteed.
They advise posting as early as possible, so… if your preferred delivery service is Royal Mail, then we would strongly recommend ordering early, or selecting one of our alternative shipping options during the Royal Mail Strike Dates.
These are circumstances beyond our control and as such, we are unable to assist with support requests relating to delivery updates or delays if you select any Royal Mail delivery option for your order.
In short, we strongly advise you select one of the DPD shipping options until Royal Mail’s industrial dispute is settled and services return to normal.
